Founder, Ernest Chaires, has been instrumental in shaping Nashville's taste for Mexican food since he entered the local restaurant industry at age 19. In 2001 the roots of Rosepepper were planted in East Nashville and the neighborhood has bloomed around it. Eleven years later, a once undeveloped area is now considered THE place to be and Rosepepper is at its pulse.Rosepepper is now known as a funky, cool, eclectic restaurant that happens to serve great Mexican food. Our margaritas have been voted "Best Margarita" by the Nashville Scene's reader poll for the last ten years, as well as receiving numerous other awards. We believe local roots, a modern flair, and a respect for tradition are what keep our customers happy and our neighborhood growing.
